Photo Tour Itinerary

Yangshuo & Guilin

At 4am, the photography guide will meet you at your hotel then heading to Xianggong Hill, which is considered one of the best spots in Yangshuo for capturing breathtaking photos of the karst mountains and the scenic Li River at sunrise.

Following breakfast at a local rice noodle restaurant, we'll drive to a peaceful village off the beaten path. Here, you'll have the chance to photograph the buffalo farmer on an ancient stone bridge and mountains in a distance.

Following a brief break, we'll visit an ancient town. You'll  have the opportunity to visit a local's house, where you can capture photogenic portraits in their charming old wooden house, enhanced by natural light and a sense of history.

Another noteworthy aspect of the day is to photograph the cormorant fisherman at sunset. You'll have the opportunity to spend roughly two hours with a genuine, elderly fisherman and his cormorants. You'll hear captivating tales of fishing with these birds, snap breathtaking photos of the fisherman at dusk, and capture images of gaslamp portraits and mountain reflections during the blue hour.

Stay overnight in Guilin.

Longji Rice Terraces

Your guide will collect you from your Guilin hotel and then head to Longji rice terraces.

You will first meet a minority family in Dazhai village and capture captivating portraits of an elderly couple in their charming wooden home.

After visiting the family, hike up the mountains to capture the stunning views of rice terraces and minority tribes. Use a long lens to capture circular and rounded terraced fields and panoramic shots of the valley .

In the afternoon, visit the second largest village, Ping'an village. With fewer houses, it's an ideal location for great photos.

Additionally, Ping'an village is the only place where terraced fields are irrigated from December to June, offering an opportunity to capture reflected terraced fields before mid-June.
