The most ideal time for beautiful sunrises and sunsets over karst mountains is May to November.
For cormorant fishermen and gas lamp reflections at dawn and dusk, the best time is August to November.
March to June is a good time to shoot the irrigated terraced fields.
September to the middle of October is the best time to photograph the golden rice terraces.
If you are thinking of getting nice shots of mist surrounding the village or sea of clouds in-between mountains, high chances from March to July.

To make the most of your visit here, it's best to plan your trip from May to October, while keeping in mind to avoid the local holidays such as Mid-Autumn Festival, China National Day Holiday, and Spring Festival. These months are considered the peak season.
